Follow-up for a stable chronic condition
A video consultation can review a condition that is already known and currently stable. It is not a substitute for every physical examination, eye check, foot check, or specialist visit.
- Languages
- English, French, Romanian, and Arabic
Choose a preferred time in the consultation request. Dr. El Jamali confirms the appointment. This is not an emergency service and not an immediate-reply service.
Book a chronic disease follow-upWhat follow-up can include
A regular review, symptom check, home blood-pressure readings, glucose readings, and HbA1c.
The doctor can interpret blood tests, ask about side effects, and consider a treatment change or a renewal when that is medically appropriate and allowed.
You may be asked to book an in-person examination or a specialist visit. That is part of safe follow-up.
Conditions that can be followed
High blood pressure
Stable hypertension, with home readings. Chest pain or neurological symptoms are emergencies.
Type 2 diabetes
Stable diabetes, including glucose and HbA1c. Very high glucose, vomiting, or confusion needs urgent care.
Thyroid, cholesterol, and asthma
Hypothyroidism, high cholesterol, and stable asthma can be reviewed. An asthma attack is not a video follow-up.
Allergies, weight, and reflux
Chronic allergies, medical weight management, and chronic reflux can be discussed within family medicine.
Antidepressant follow-up
A stable antidepressant can be reviewed. A psychiatric emergency needs immediate local help, not this booking.
Questions patients ask
Can online follow-up replace my yearly examination?
No. Some checks still need to be done in person. The consultation tells you which ones.
Can my medicine be renewed at the same time?
It can be considered during the same medical assessment when the rules allow it. It is not included by default.
