Conditions we treat online

A video consultation can already help. For a stable condition, the doctor can follow your treatment, read your results, and consider a renewal when it is medically appropriate. For a new symptom, it is a first medical assessment. You can leave with a plan, advice about tests, a treatment when it is appropriate, or a letter toward a colleague or a clinic, including a doctor who speaks your language. A name on this list means the problem can be discussed. It does not mean it is always treated by video.

Languages
English, French, Romanian, and Arabic

Choose a preferred time in the consultation request. Dr. El Jamali confirms the appointment. This is not an emergency service and not an immediate-reply service.

Book online consultation

Common infections

A new cough, a sore throat or mild urinary symptoms can start with a video consultation. The doctor looks for warning signs, advises on tests when they are useful, and can consider treatment when it is medically appropriate. If you need to be seen in person, you leave with a clear referral.

Simple cystitis

Burning when passing urine, in some non-pregnant adult women, without fever or back pain.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can review the symptoms, red flags, and whether a urine test or a medicine is appropriate.

Good to know. Pregnancy, fever, flank pain, vomiting, visible blood, symptoms in men, or symptoms that keep returning need a test or an in-person visit. A medicine is not promised.

Book online consultation

Mild urinary symptoms

Mild discomfort when passing urine, without signs of a kidney infection.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can decide whether watchful waiting, a test, or a consultation in person is the safer next step.

Good to know. Fever, back pain, vomiting, or feeling very unwell can mean a kidney infection and should not be managed only online.

Book online consultation

Sore throat

A painful throat or pharyngitis without trouble breathing.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can ask about duration, fever, exposure, and whether a test or symptomatic care is reasonable.

Good to know. Drooling, a muffled voice, neck stiffness, a rash with severe illness, or trouble breathing needs urgent care.

Book online consultation

Uncomplicated tonsillitis

Sore tonsils without obstruction of breathing or deep neck infection.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can assess pain, fever, and whether antibiotics are even a consideration.

Good to know. An antibiotic is not promised. One-sided swelling, drooling, or trouble opening the mouth needs urgent in-person care.

Book online consultation

Common cold

A runny nose, mild sore throat, and tiredness from a common cold or nasopharyngitis.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can explain the usual course and which symptoms should be reviewed again.

Good to know. Breathing difficulty, chest pain, confusion, or a cold in a very frail person needs in-person or urgent care.

Book online consultation

Good to know. Shortness of breath, coughing blood, chest pain, or a cough in pregnancy or in a person with serious lung disease needs to be seen.

Book online consultation

Post-infectious cough

A cough that lingers after a cold, when the person is improving.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can check for warning signs and discuss how long a cough can last.

Good to know. Weight loss, night sweats, coughing blood, or breathlessness need an examination, not advice alone.

Book online consultation

Allergic rhinitis

Sneezing, itching, and a runny nose linked to pollen, dust, or pets.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can review triggers and medicines already tried.

Good to know. Wheeze, swelling of the lips or tongue, or trouble breathing is urgent and is not a rhinitis consultation.

Book online consultation

Sexual health

If you have symptoms or think you may have been exposed, a confidential consultation is a useful first step. The doctor can advise which tests to do, explain results, discuss treatment when it is medically appropriate, and refer you to a clinic when an examination is needed.

Symptoms or a possible exposure

Discharge, pain, a sore, or a recent risk you want to talk through in private.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can make a first assessment, explain which tests are useful, discuss treatment when the situation is clear enough, and write a referral if you need to be seen.

Good to know. Treatment is considered when it is medically appropriate. An antibiotic is not promised before that review. Some infections need a test or an injection in a clinic. A possible HIV exposure needs urgent local care, within 72 hours, rather than a routine booking. The consultation is confidential. It is not an anonymous service.

Book online consultation

STI tests and results

Screening already done, or a plan for which tests to request.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can explain a report and discuss follow-up.

Good to know. A result still has to be read with the clinical story. Urgent positive results should not wait.

Questions about oral contraception or follow-up of a method you already use.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can review suitability, side effects, and missed pills.

Good to know. Some methods need an examination, a blood pressure check, or a prescription decision that cannot be made safely online.

Book a Prescription Renewal Consultation

Simple skin problems

A photo and a short history are often enough for a first opinion on acne, eczema or a familiar rash. The doctor can suggest care and tell you when a dermatologist should see the skin in person.

Good to know. Sudden bald patches, scalp pain, or hair loss with severe illness needs an examination. Blood tests may be required.

Book a chronic disease follow-up

Chronic reflux

Known heartburn that is stable.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can review triggers, alarms, and current treatment.

Good to know. Trouble swallowing, vomiting blood, black stools, weight loss, or chest pain needs urgent assessment, not a routine renewal.

Book a chronic disease follow-up

Mental health

Anxiety, stress, poor sleep or the follow-up of a stable antidepressant can be discussed calmly. If there is an immediate risk, local emergency care comes first.

Anxiety

Worry that is affecting daily life but is not an emergency.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can listen, look for physical causes, and discuss first steps.

Book online consultation

Irritable bowel syndrome already assessed

A diagnosis of irritable bowel that was made before, now flaring mildly.

Non-urgent fatigue

Tiredness that has lasted, without fainting or severe shortness of breath.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can review sleep, mood, medicines, and which blood tests are worth doing.

Book online consultation

Review of test results

Blood, urine, or screening results you want explained.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can interpret the report in context and say what should happen next.

Good to know. A diagnosis is not always possible from the paper alone. Critical results should not wait for a routine slot.

A planned review after an earlier visit.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can check whether the plan helped and what remains.

Good to know. A worsening emergency symptom replaces the follow-up and needs urgent care.

Book online consultation

Family medicine second opinion

Another look at a non-urgent problem already assessed elsewhere.

How a consultation can help. The doctor can review the story and the documents you have.

Good to know. A second opinion is not a promise to overturn another doctor’s plan, and it cannot replace an examination that has not been done.

Questions patients ask

Is every condition on this page treated fully online?

No. The list shows what can be assessed. Tests, an examination, or emergency care are still required in many situations.

Why is there no separate page for each illness?

A single directory keeps the advice together and points you to the right consultation, instead of a crowd of thin pages.
