This is a consultation with a doctor who reads your results in the context of your symptoms and history. A laboratory report on its own does not always provide a diagnosis.

Blood tests
A general review of a blood panel you already have.
Cholesterol, glucose, and HbA1c
Lipid results, glucose, and HbA1c, including what should be repeated.
Thyroid, liver, kidney, and blood count
TSH and other thyroid tests, liver tests, kidney tests, and a full blood count.
Iron, vitamins, and urine
Iron studies, vitamin results, and urine tests.
STI results
STI screening results that need a medical explanation and a plan.
What the consultation does not do
The doctor may still need an examination, a repeat test, or urgent care. A single abnormal number is not a complete diagnosis.
When to seek urgent care instead
Severe chest pain, trouble breathing, fainting, confusion, black stools, very high glucose with vomiting, or a result your laboratory marked as critical should not wait for a routine booking. Call 112 if you feel seriously unwell.
Questions patients ask
Should I send my results before the visit?
Bring them to the consultation. Do not put medical documents in a marketing form. The booking request can say that you want results reviewed.
Will I receive a diagnosis from the file alone?
Not always. The doctor interprets the results together with your story and says when more information is needed.
